RN Cath Lab

Position Summary:

As a Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse, you'll play a vital role in promoting and restoring patients’ health by providing comprehensive nursing care throughout invasive procedures. Your responsibilities will include:

• Implementing patient care plans, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments
• Documenting patient care accurately
• Monitoring patient vital signs and condition during procedures, communicating effectively with the care team, surgeons, anesthesiologists, and families
• Collaborating across disciplines to ensure coordinated patient care, including transfer, discharge, and referral
• Educating patients and families on relevant topics based on age, culture, and condition
• Advocating for the physical and emotional well-being of patients
• Initiating emergency resuscitative measures when necessary and ensuring infection prevention protocols are followed
• Participating in patient safety initiatives such as Universal Protocol and time-outs
• Collecting and entering data for relevant registries

Requirements:

• Associate degree from an accredited professional nursing school Required.
• Certifications: ACLS required upon hire.
• At least 1 year experience as RN Cath Lab
• Arizona Registered Nurse and/or Compact State Registered Nurse Required.
