Job Description

The Cath Lab Scrub Tech will play a critical role in supporting advanced cardiac procedures, specifically within the structural heart domain. This position requires a strong background in scrub tech responsibilities in a Cath Lab environment, with an emphasis on complex procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in facilitating complex cardiac procedures, including but not limited to TAVR, PCI, and structural heart interventions.
  • Maintain the sterile field and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available before procedures.
  • Monitor patient stability and assist with telemetry as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Cath Lab team to ensure efficient patient throughput and care.
  • Participate in orientation and ongoing training as required.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab scrub tech experience, with a focus on structural heart procedures.
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and either RCIS or ARRT.
  • Experience with procedures such as balloon angioplasty, stenting, thrombectomy, and catheterizations is essential.
  • Familiarity with EKG settings and rhythm interpretation preferred.
