JOB SUMMARY:

The Software Product Specialist at Reotemp plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and modernization of our software products and systems. Working within a collaborative team environment, the specialist troubleshoots software issues, implements updates, and leads development projects to meet the evolving needs of our customers and stakeholders. With a focus on continuous improvement, the specialist manages web application projects, advises on software modernization strategies, and collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver data-driven solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Troubleshoot software with end users, resolving issues efficiently and effectively.
Implement fixes, improvements, and new developments for software products.
Serve as the lead developer for software products, overseeing software development projects and ensuring timely delivery within a multi-developer environment.
Manage new web application specifications and projects, overseeing the development process from conception to implementation in our custom CRM software.
Lead various software modernization projects across the company, optimizing systems and processes for improved efficiency.
Work within our legacy software, learning its functionalities and advising on modernization strategies and pathways to modern frameworks.
Collaborate with marketing manager to develop new reports for data-driven decision making.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, Python, Linux, and PHP.
Experience in software troubleshooting and debugging.
Strong project management skills with familiarity in Jira or other project management software.
Proven experience working in a multi-developer environment, demonstrating the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, contribute to shared codebases, and coordinate efforts to achieve project objectives.
Knowledge of software development best practices, encompassing code quality standards, documentation, testing methodologies, and continuous integration/continuous deployment, to ensure the delivery of robust and maintainable software solutions.
Proficient experience managing code using GitHub, including version control, branching, pull requests, and collaboration features, ensuring smooth and efficient code management in team environments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with dashboard and report creation.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field preferred.
