Job description

As a Software Product Marketing Manager on the Vello team, you will be leveraging sales and customer insights to deliver effective plans to drive customer adoption and utilization across the product lifecycle.

Partnering closely with the Sales Organization, you will be responsible for Vello sales enablement strategy, infusing sales insights into our messaging, marketing, and product strategy for Vello.

You will oversee all things sales enablement from demo tools, customer facing content, sales training overviews, and competitive intelligence to support our sales organization.

Preference is to operate within East Coast time zone.

In this role:

  • Sales Enablement Strategy: Work closely with sales leadership and sales training teams to develop, execute, and optimize our sales enablement strategy, leveraging sales insights to inform demo tools, enablement content, product messaging, customer facing materials, and training content.
  • Sales Insights: Responsible for collecting and packaging sales insights from prospects and existing customers to inform product messaging, marketing strategy, and product strategy
  • Sales Content: Support our sales and sales training channels by delivering clear and concise sales enablement tools & collateral (sell sheets, product toolkits, competitive decks etc.), providing insight & direction on what customers' needs are and where we sit in the competitive landscape.
  • Competitive & Market Intelligence: Monitor, document, and report on competitive intelligence gathered from sales resources, closing the loop between the field, product marketing, and the product team.
  • GTM Planning & Execution: Plan & launch new products, crafting clear & measurable GTM strategy, goals, and KPI's.
  • Campaigns & Programs: Support the creation of customer acquisition and user engagement programs that drive customer satisfaction, loyalty and ultimately advocacy for IDEXX and its veterinary software solutions.
  • Build collaborative ways of working between product marketing and commercial teams for efficient and effective response to customer needs.
  • Support all Vello product marketing activities including continued messaging and positioning, sales enablement, campaign creation, content development, and general GTM planning and execution.

What You Will Need to Succeed:

  • The right candidate has 5+ years of strong mix of both commercial and product marketing experience, where proven commercial impact and understanding is key.
  • Commercial experience (Marketing/Customer Service/Sales) is required, and Product Marketing experience is preferred.
  • Strong collaboration skills and team-oriented disposition with the ability to influence key stakeholders, foster collaboration, and drive results across cross-functional teams.
  • Highly organized approach to project planning and tracking to ensure all key deliverables and milestones are met in lock step with cross functional stakeholders.
  • Appetite for fast-moving collaborative environment. This role requires you to work across functions and departments to bring life to the product.
  • A willingness to roll up your sleeves and switch between strategy and tactical execution.
  • Self-starter with ability to manage a variety of large programs and deliverables at once.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver customer first marketing strategy, backed by results & highly measurable.
