Job description

Meet the Moment with Alteryx

We're living through a once-in-a-generation shift in how work gets done. Data, automation, and AI are quickly becoming the center of every business decision - and Alteryx is leading the transformation.

You'll be working on the challenges that sit at the heart of modern business. No matter your role, the work you do will help organizations move faster, see more clearly, and tackle questions that used to feel impossible.

If you're ready to meet the moment with innovation, curiosity, and excellence, there's a place for you here.

Who We Are

Alteryx is an AI-ready data and analytics company that helps organizations put data + AI to work for the Intelligent Enterprise. For more than 20 years, over 8,000 customers have trusted Alteryx to connect, clean, and automate enterprise data - no coding required - delivering the analytics, workflows, and business logic that power insights and operational decisions.

As we define the future of Agentic Analytics, we are reimagining how technical storytelling, demos, and product experiences bring our platform to life - making it easy for customers, partners, and field teams to understand, adopt, and scale with Alteryx One.

What are we looking for

We are seeking a highly technical, creative, and execution-focused Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager that leads demo strategy, technical storytelling, and roadmap visualization for the Alteryx One platform.

This role sits at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Product Marketing, and Sales Engineering - responsible for translating complex data and AI capabilities into compelling, scalable demo experiences and roadmap narratives that drive understanding, differentiation, and deal velocity.

This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in building, not just messaging - someone who can design hands-on demo environments, influence product storytelling, and enable the field to confidently communicate both current capabilities and future vision.

What you'll do

As the Technical Product Marketing Manager, you will:

  • Own demo strategy for Alteryx One: Define and scale a cohesive demo strategy that showcases platform value, differentiation, and real-world use cases across the customer journey.

  • Build world-class demo experiences: Design and develop demo environments, walkthroughs, videos, and scripts that bring Agentic Analytics and the Alteryx One platform to life.

  • Translate roadmap into reality: Create scalable roadmap storytelling assets (demo-ready scenarios, narratives, and visualizations) that clearly communicate product vision and future value.

  • Enable technical field teams: Partner with Sales Engineering and GTM teams to deliver repeatable demo frameworks, training, and assets that increase consistency, confidence, and win rates.

  • Support strategic deals: Engage directly in high-value opportunities to deliver roadmap vision and technical storytelling aligned to ICP and account-based strategies.

  • Drive launch and event excellence: Lead and support demos for product launches, customer engagements, executive briefings, and major events (1st- and 3rd-party).

  • Infuse competitive differentiation: Embed competitive insights and ecosystem positioning into demos and roadmap narratives to strengthen differentiation in-market.

  • Scale technical storytelling: Build a centralized, reusable library of demo and roadmap assets that are easily accessible and broadly adopted across teams.

  • Partner deeply with Product & Engineering: Influence how features are showcased and experienced, ensuring technical accuracy and alignment with product direction.

  • Elevate platform narrative: Helps reinforce Alteryx's leadership in Agentic Analytics through compelling, technical storytelling that bridges product innovation and customer value.

What you'll bring

  • 7+ years of experience in Technical Product Marketing, Solutions Engineering, Developer Marketing, or similar roles in B2B SaaS.

  • Direct experience using Alteryx

  • Proven ability to build and deliver high-quality demo environments, technical assets, and product walkthroughs.

  • Strong understanding of data, analytics, AI/ML, or cloud platforms; ability to quickly learn and articulate complex technical concepts.

  • Experience enabling Sales Engineering or technical field teams with scalable assets and training programs.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate product capabilities into value-driven narratives for both technical and business audiences.

  • Strong collaboration skills, with experience partnering cross-functionally across Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales.

  • Experience supporting product launches, roadmap storytelling, or executive-level presentations.

  • Comfort operating in fast-paced environments, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

  • Bonus: Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or modern data stack technologies.

  • BA/BS required; technical degree or equivalent experience preferred.

  • Willingness to travel (25% - 40%) for events, customer engagements, and internal meetings.

What success looks like in the first 6 months

  • Demo strategy scaled and adopted: A clear, standardized demo framework is established and consistently used across Marketing, Sales, and Product teams.

  • High-impact demo library built: A robust set of reusable demos, walkthroughs, and video assets is widely adopted and leveraged across the organization.

  • Field confidence increased: Sales Engineering and GTM teams demonstrate improved consistency, effectiveness, and confidence in demo delivery.

  • Roadmap storytelling elevated: Clear, compelling roadmap assets are used in executive conversations and strategic deals to communicate future vision.

  • Stronger deal support and influence: Technical storytelling contributes directly to improved win rates and progression in high-value opportunities.

  • Cross-functional alignment strengthened: Product, Marketing, and GTM teams are aligned on how Alteryx One is demonstrated and communicated.

Compensation:

Alteryx is committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. Final compensation is determined by several factors, including but not limited to relevant work experience, education, certifications, skills, and geographic location.
