Job description:

As a detailing technician, you will be responsible for the final appearance of a customer’s aircraft. Under the team lead's direction, you will receive and prepare aircraft for maintenance, record aircraft inventory, and perform interior/ exterior detailing of aircraft. Detailing will include the degreasing of aircraft components, waxing of aircraft exterior, cleaning of windows, cleaning of carpets and removal of stains, care for leather seats, cleaning and sealing of pneumatic de-ice boots.

Other duties include the use of towing equipment to move and stack aircraft in a hangar, cleaning of floors, performing facility improvement projects, and driving company vehicles to reposition pilots, clients, or deliver aircraft components or consumables.

As a detailer you will be responsible for keeping a clean work area and maintaining a professional appearance. You will also be responsible for interacting professionally with customers and providing satisfactory customer service and interactions.

Qualifications:

• Must be physically fit to wax/polish/detail aircraft.
• Is detail oriented.
• Must be able to work well with others and contribute as a team member.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Must be punctual.
• Any additional duties assigned by management.
• Ability to work overtime to assist with moving and cleaning aircraft
• Has experience marshaling aircraft and towing aircraft.
• Is Forklift certified.
• Is mechanically inclined.
• Has superior communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Prior auto detailing experience
