Student Support Services Coordinator - Part-Time

The Student Support Service Coordinator reports directly to the Workforce Development Manager. This person will work closely with the Workforce Development Manager, Employment Related Training Site Supervisor, and Workforce Development Director. The Student Support Service Coordinator is responsible for helping to make processes smoother when it comes to classes, workshops, evaluations, work studies, prepping for classes, entering data, and more as needed.

Hours:

• Availability Monday – Friday
• 15 to 20 hours a week
• Flexible schedule available

Position Type:

• Non-exempt Temporary Position to 12/31/2024

Other Requirements:

• Must be authorized to work in the US
• Must have a flexible schedule

$25 hourly

Key Responsibilities: 

• Assist/facilitate with workforce development manager for career development classes

Educating/Coordinating the following:

• Career Fair
• Job Opportunity Presentations
• Mock Interviews
• Career Assessments
• Professional etiquette and interview tips
• Career Path and Resume final reviews and deeper research
• Job Search navigation tools/resources 

• AA Degree or equivalent experience
• Relevant or demonstrated experience in career development
• Dependable, reliable, hardworking, and a people person
• Outgoing, friendly, respectful and patient
• Detail oriented
