RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct comprehensive new employee orientations, ensuring seamless onboarding experiences.
- Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, directing complex or sensitive matters to the relevant personnel.
- Assist with fair and thorough investigations into employee complaints, conflicts, or policy violations.
- Provide guidance and mediation to resolve issues in a timely and fair manner.
- Support the HR Business Partner in researching and formulating company and HR-specific policies for Tarragon Property Services.
- Create and maintain personnel records and confidential files; perform file audits to ensure proper documentation and appropriate record retention.
- Assign HR training modules as required.
- Manage paperwork for terminations and conduct exit interviews.
- Assist in employee performance reviews, updating database, maintaining files, and monitoring progress.
- Compile and distribute reports related to employee headcount, milestone anniversaries, and turnover data.
- Support additional HR projects as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in HR, specifically focusing on employee relations.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- PHR preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Technologically savvy, with high proficiency in all Microsoft Office and HRIS programs.
- Strong ability to keep information confidential at all times.
- Ability to prioritize workload, multi-task, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills necessary to communicate and work effectively with management and co-workers.
- Ability to take the initiative to complete projects, tasks, and assignments.
- Exceptional ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats.
- Polished and professional image
Schedule and Location: This position will be located onsite in Sumner, Washington with normal working hours between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
