STEAMspark Montessori Experience is seeking a summerSPARK Student Intern (College or High School student) to facilitate exciting hands-on activities to assigned groups of students, to support our Marketing Team, and/or to support our Information Technology Team.

We are seeking an instructional assistant to support the Montessori Lead with establishing and maintaining a peaceful Montessori environment.

Role & Responsibilities

• Implement the STEAMspark summerSPARK Curriculum with enthusiasm and an engaging demeanor.

• Accommodate for differences in students’ needs.
• Maintain efficient management procedures and standards of student behavior.
• Implement a variety of strategies and resources, including technology, to meet students' needs.
• Create a fun and exciting environment conducive to learning and appropriate for students’ physical, social and emotional development.
• Establish and maintain open and effective communication with parents, students, administration, other teachers.
• Facilitate the “spark” of the summer!
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Able to sit on the floor to assist with lessons.
• Able to lift at least 25 pounds.

Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
