CAE Analysis Lead - Next Generation Model e Products

Position Description: Lead the Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) analysis of next-generation Model e products, focusing on areas such as Body, Interiors, Closures, Seats, and Frames. Collaborate with Design & Release (D&R) engineers to drive design resolutions using both linear and non-linear CAE analysis. Develop component, system, and vehicle-level CAE models following Ford CAE modeling/analysis guidelines. Direct other analysts in creating CAE models and conducting analysis. Conduct Design of Experiments (DOE) studies utilizing optimization tools to meet performance requirements while considering constraints such as cost and mass. Develop CAE-based countermeasures and work with program members to propose designs meeting cost and weight targets. Participate in CAE/design reviews to present findings and communicate with team members. Maintain records of all CAE models and document as necessary.

Skills Required:

• Proficiency in CAE analysis using various codes for pre- and post-processing.
• Knowledge of body, closures, and chassis CAE.

Skills Preferred:

• Further knowledge and experience in body, closures, and chassis CAE.

Experience Required: Minimum of 3 years in CAE analysis.

Experience Preferred:

• Experience in automotive industry CAE analysis.

Education Required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
