Vice President of Sales - Electrical Utilities Modernization

Job Summary: This role involves leading business development efforts and providing expertise in implementing Distributed Energy Resource Management Systems (DERMS) and other Grid Modernization software solutions for electric utility clients in the Americas. Essential duties include:

- Identifying and pursuing business opportunities in DERMS and Grid Modernization software.

- Building and maintaining relationships with utility industry executives and decision-makers.

- Representing the company at industry events and conferences.

- Collaborating with relevant industry trade bodies.

- Coordinating marketing efforts and participating in trade shows and events.

- Securing funding for utility software projects.

- Supporting sales teams in positioning company solutions.

- Influencing product and technology roadmaps.

- Collaborating with broader company activities and international teams.

- Collecting and analyzing market data.

- Upholding company quality, safety, and environmental policies.

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in engineering, business, or related field.

- Minimum 10 years of experience in software service business development or equivalent.

- Advanced knowledge and experience in DERMS implementation.

- Intermediate knowledge of software implementation in the electric utility industry.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.

Compensation:

-190k - 200k Salary Range with Bonus Potential
