Job Description
Role
As an Electrical Equipment Technician (also known as Instrumentation and Electrical Specialist, Electrical Maintenance Technician), you'll be responsible for the installation, programming, calibration, and preventative maintenance of electrical equipment. You'll also troubleshoot, repair, and replace parts or equipment on instrumentation and electrical systems, develop work plans, and provide assistance to other maintenance staff. You'll also utilize a Computer Maintenance Monitoring System (CMMS) and provide field instrumentation support for all process equipment.

- Minimum 3 years' experience in an industrial environment.
- Good working knowledge of 3 phase motors and distribution, control systems, smart transmitters, and control valves.
- High level of mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Journeyman or Master Electrician with substantial instrumentation experience preferred.
- Proficiency in PLC, Electrical, and Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills, Hydraulics Experience, and Machine Safety Inspections.
- Experience with Servo Motors, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), and Conveyor Systems.
