Position Overview:
We are seeking skilled diesel engine technicians interested in leveraging their expertise to support our customers in a sales capacity. This role involves utilizing your in-depth knowledge of diesel engines to provide technical assistance and guidance to our clientele.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities:
Engage with customers via phone to understand their needs and process orders efficiently.
Utilize databases and resources to accurately look up and recommend appropriate parts.
Troubleshoot engine-related issues based on customer descriptions and provide informed solutions.
Educate customers on the features and applications of various parts based on your extensive engine knowledge.
Prepare and deliver parts quotes to customers promptly and accurately.
Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of experience working with diesel engines or parts.
Strong technical knowledge of diesel engines and associated components.
Proficiency in computer usage, including the ability to quickly learn new programs and commands.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on professionalism and customer service.
Ability to maintain a calm and courteous demeanor in fast-paced environments.
