Hourly Rate: $20.00 - $23.40

CORE employees are required to work in a safe manner in accordance with regulatory standards and requirements.

Contact Center Hours: Monday - Friday - 7:00 - 5:30 (your shift will fall between these hours).

This role will be office based, not a remote position.

As a Member Services Representative I, you are responsible to the Member Services Supervisor and function as a guide for our members to understand our services and how to access them. You play a vital role and are the first voice heard from CORE Electric Cooperative when you support our members by phone, email, in chat, and other electronic correspondence. Sometimes the questions are easy and straight forward and sometimes they are complicated. No matter what type of questions you get, you will be fully supported by your training team and management to assist our members. Our customer service experience is second to none in the energy business. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent certificate required. One or more years of practical equivalent experience in member/customer service is required. This would include answering phone calls, chat conversations, and other electronic correspondence. You will be working in our system to create orders and assist our members. Excellent communication and problem-solving are necessary with a strong drive to provide exceptional customer service. Ability to listen and effectively manage members requests, concerns and complaints while maintaining a calm friendly empathetic composure. Skill to work with a multi-screen, multi-application computer system. Competent with Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams. Proficient with general office equipment.
