HR Operations Generalist
We are seeking four Human Resources Operations Generalists to work in Training or Talent Acquisition! This position is located on site in Albuquerque, NM on a 6 month contract.
About the Job
The selected candidate will be responsible for providing front-line customer service and support toemployees (active and inactive), managers, candidates, and company vendors for questions, issues, and problems. One will also perform transactional and data/records management activities in support of HR Information System and Training Management System functions. This person works under direction from an HR Operations Team Lead to ensure HR service delivery is consistently high-quality.
On any given day, one may be called upon to:
Provide excellent customer service to both phone and online inquiries from employees, managers and candidates to resolve questions/issues by accessing information in multiple systems
Process transactions by collecting required information or back-up documentation from theemployee/manager/HR, including probing for additional information if unclear, performing data entry, and sending requested documents
Advance complex HR inquires to HR Operations Specialists and provide necessary documentation to support requests; route/refer calls for advanced support and follow up as required
Perform case processing in support of HR functions (e.g., data entry, filing, sending correspondence, etc.)
Provide help on navigating internal resources on self-service and HR technology tools
Manage workload efficiently to fulfill commitments in a timely manner and within established service level agreements
Collaborate closely between HR Solutions, vendors, and other HR functions
Requirements
Required Qualifications
A High School Diploma; or equivalent experience and/or achievements that demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and ability to perform the duties of the job
The ability to acquire and maintain a DOE L-level security clearance
Desired Qualifications
Knowledge of HR concepts and terminology
Experience in Customer Service; a proven customer service orientation
The ability to manage multiple priorities, think tactically and strategically, demonstrate objectivity, be results oriented, and show initiative and creativity
Strong digital literacy and technical capabilities (e.g. Microsoft Office, Oracle Service Cloud, Peoplesoft, etc.)
The ability to be flexible, work well under pressure, and readily adapt to change
The ability to decode customer expectations, earn trust through results, influence/relate to others, and connect people through technology
The ability to model behaviors that reflect Sandia's core values
Background Check and Screenings
