Job description

CHC is a non-profit social service agency in the Akron area whose mission is to treat, inspire, support and empower individuals and families impacted by the disease of addiction. CHC has been a critical part of Ohio’s efforts to treat and prevent substance use disorders since 1974.
We are currently looking for a full time Finance Generalist to work in our busy addiction treatment center, Monday through Friday. The Finance Generalist supports day to day financial operations of the organization including but not limited to accounting, reporting and revenue cycle management.
The Finance Generalists duties include:
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
  • Assist with monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
  • Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation
  • Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems
  • Assist with cash receipts, deposits, and payment tracking
Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent, at least 1-2 years in primary care billing and finance support. Must have strong computer skills with knowledge of modern office practices, procedures and equipment and be detail oriented.
