The primary function of this position is to provide Finance/Accounting/Reporting software platform support to the organization. Perform effective and efficient analysis and validation of reported financial data (actual, forecasts, budgets, strategic plans, and other reported data) and provide feedback to users for corrections and knowledge transfer to drive improvement in quality and analysis of reported data. Assist with ongoing updates, development, and maintenance of the Prophix FP&A system and other related products as the primary platform for financial reporting/consolidations activities for Sarcos

Role/Responsibilities:

  • Support in building, analyzing, and interpreting financial data and results through reporting and modeling using the Prophix and excel tools.
  • Support in developing models and financial reporting that can be effectively utilized and understood by management and key decision-makers.
  • Possess effective communication skills that allow for results and reports to be presented and defended to key stakeholders
  • Support Enterprise-wide users with data changes for monthly actuals, quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and strategic plans within defined timelines and requirements.
  • Support end-users with financial reporting tools and processes including errors/discrepancies/validations corrections to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting along with providing the most effective and efficient process and tools for data loading (templates, Web Forms, ERP interface / reporting etc.).
  • Support enterprise-wide end-users Subject Matter Expert (SME) with training and support with: Quick Views, queries, and functionalities to facilitate financial data mining for analysis, inquiries, and ad hoc reporting.
  • Support the development, deployment, and maintenance of Financial Reports and dashboards including the collection of end-user requirements and building reports to their specification in compliance with management approvals.
  • Responsible for providing end-users premier support with financial reporting tools and processes including errors/discrepancies/validations corrections to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to defined financials.
  • Analyze and validate reported financial data including actual, forecasts, budgets, strategic plans, and other reported data. 
  • Deploy “Best Practices” tools and processes through effective utilization to drive ongoing enterprise improvements.
  • Maintain and monitor adherence to defined Financial Reporting Requirements.
  • Assist with supporting multiple reporting entities with financial reporting and consolidations (actual, quarterly forecasts, annual budgets, and strategic plans).

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Business, Mathematics, Accounting or similar field
  • 6 years’ experience building, maintaining, and analyzing financial consolidation/planning systems years’ experience building, maintaining and analyzing financial consolidation/planning systems)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Excel)
  • Advanced data management of systems and FP&A processes is required. 
  • Effective communication, collaboration, and partnership skills
  • Project management experience is a plus
  • NetSuite / Prophix experience is desirable but not required.
  • Prior experience defining business requirements for financial consolidations is highly desirable
  • This position requires access to export controlled technical data. Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technical data prior to beginning work. Business demands may require Sarcos to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology. Candidates must be a U.S Citizen or lawful Permanent Resident (or have certain refugee status)
