A subsidiary of UGI Corporation, UGI Energy Services supplies and markets natural gas, liquid fuels, renewable natural gas, and electricity to 42,000 customer locations across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeastern US. Job Summary:
Assist with the financial planning functions at UGI Energy Services and its subsidiaries, including daily cash balance monitoring, preparing monthly finance reports to management, supporting the budget and forecast planning cycle, and ad hoc financial analysis as required.
Part-time, targeting 2 days or 16 hours per week.
Essential Functions:
  • Assist with tracking and reporting daily cash balances in the primary operating account and monthly cash balances in subsidiary accounts.
  • Partner with the corporate treasury team to prepare loan paydown and borrowing requests based on cash positioning.
  • Support the loading and validation of financial planning data in Hyperion SmartView to ensure accuracy across budget and forecast cycles.
  • Support monthly financial close and reporting processes, including updating results tracking files and preparing management summaries covering weather impacts, receivables, and cash positioning.
  • Contribute to ad hoc analyses and finance initiatives using AI tools to improve reporting efficiency.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong financial analytic and financial modeling skills
  • Experience with Oracle ePBCS / Hyperion, Power BI, or AI products are a plus
  • Ability to manage recurring deadlines and maintain data accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional reporting

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education: Working towards Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related field.
