About the Role

The Sr. Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis position is a unique opportunity to take on a vital role at a fast-growing company with the highest standardsfortalent. This person will be a critical member of the growing FP&A team, supporting financial data collection and integration, producingessentialfinancial reporting, and analyzing company performance at a granular level. The ideal candidate combines high analytical rigor with meticulous attention to detail, treats reporting processes as something to be owned and continuously improved,builds deep fluency in our financial systems and tools, and communicates financial concepts clearly to both finance and non-finance audiences. This person will be held to a high standard of confidentiality and ethics, managing sensitive financial information on a regular basis.

Success in this role requiresan eagerness and curiosity to develop a deep understanding of our business and industry:how media, measurement, andadvisoryservices come together to drive client impact, and how the levers of a fast-growing business connect to the numbersthat we areanalyzing every day.

Responsibilities of a Sr.Analyst, Financial Planning & Analysis

Reporting:Build,maintain, and improvethe financialbackbone thatleadership relies on to run the business

  • Own and continuouslyimproveour Adaptive Insights and dashboard-driven reporting suite

  • Support monthly close reporting processes, including preparation and analysis of financial results, variance reporting, and executive-level reporting materials

  • Produce and QA regular financial results with a zero-defect standard

  • Turn dense financial detail intooutputsthat make the story obvious to non-finance audiences

  • Partner with BU leaders to evolve what we measure. As we scale, the metrics that mattered yesterdaywon'tall be the right ones going forward

Analysis:Turn data into decisions leadership can act on

  • Build fluency in our business model - how our services drive client impact, and how the revenue models and cost drivers relevant to your area of focus translate into our financial results

  • Conduct assumptions-based modeling that stress-tests key company initiatives before capital or headcount gets committed

  • Provide variance and root-cause analyses, including monthly forecast vs. actuals, that explain not justwhathappened, butwhy- and communicate insights directly to leadership

  • Partner directly with senior leadership to produce ad hoc analyses and scenario models that shape real-time decision-making

  • Identifyand drive opportunities to improve our operating metrics, including leveraging AI and automation to streamline workflows and reduce manual processes

Data Maintenance:Maintainclean andaccuratefinancial data

  • Maintain an always-on, updated financial forecast through daily and weekly model updates, with rigorous attention to detail across every input

  • Serve as a thought partner and owner in streamlining data clean-up, building repeatable processes rather than one-off fixes

  • Proactively flag data integrity issues and drive them to resolution

Miscellaneous:Be a team player, ready to take on ad hoc tasks as needed

  • Own the design, assumptions testing, and output of the financial projection model for our long-range corporate planning exercises

  • Cultivate a transparent, trustworthy, and ethical work environment by staying engaged, curious, and accountable

  • Support the FP&A team with other high-priority items (e.g., accounting/operational process improvements), documenting and communicating changes to stakeholders

Requirements:

  • 2+years of FP&A, financial analysis, or related experience.

  • Strong written and verbal communication; able to translate financial detail for non-finance audiences

  • Comfort with ambiguity and a bias toward ownership over task completion

  • High analytical rigor

  • Meticulous attention to detail

Pay Transparency

AtOvative, we offer a transparent view into three core components of your total compensation package: Base Salary, Annual Bonus, and Benefits. The salary range for this position below is inclusive of an annual bonus.Actualoffers are made with consideration for relevant experience and anticipated impact.Additionalbenefits information is provided below.

For ourSr. Analystpositions, our compensation ranges from$75,000 to $93,000, which is inclusive of a15% bonus.
