Job Title: Human Resource Supervisor

Reports To: Industrial Director

Position Summary: The HR Generalist supports the human resources function of Keysteel by conducting recruitment, coordinating and conducting orientation program, advising staff on HR policies and procedures, conduct payroll, compensation review, employee relations, benefit administration, training and development, and support safety function.
Essential Duties:
Supports daily operations for conducting business in Human Resources
- Counsels employees and managers on Keysteel policies and HR processes.
- Maintains accurate time keeping and employee records/files.
- Administering benefit plans with new hires and during annual enrollment.
- Conduct job evaluation process and salary analysis.
- Actively participates in the administration, evaluation, and redesign of HR policies and procedures.
- Administer incident reports and issue Workers’ Compensation claims.
- Conduct exit interviews.
Coordinates Recruitment
- Coordinates the recruitment process through reviewing operation needs, posting positions, screening, conducting interviews, background screening, and closing on job offers.
- Works directly with management to develop a qualified candidate pool.
Coordinates and Conducts New Employee Orientation program
- Maintains and processes orientation paperwork.
- Reviews orientation material to ensure accuracy and relevancy.
- Presents orientation topics that covers all of Keysteel policies and regulations.
Employee Relations
- Provides advice and guidance to management regarding recruitment, staffing, compensation, and employee disciplinary issues.
- Facilitates employee understanding of Keysteel policies and procedures.
Organizational Training and Development
- Contributes to the development of training opportunities, including but not limited to employee development initiatives, orientation, and reward and recognition.
Safety Compliance
- Support the Safety Committee in enforcing the safety regulations and to help reinforce the safety culture at Keysteel.
Language Skills
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees in English
