Process Engineer

Position Summary:

Performs routine engineering work requiring application of standard techniques, procedures and criteria in carrying out a sequence of engineering tasks. Exercise of judgment is required on details of work and in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives.

Essential Functions:

1) Develop and improve process instruction and manufacturing capabilities.

2) Review manufacturing outputs for problem resolution activities.

3) Utilize standard problem solving techniques including analysis of key inputs especially manpower, equipment, material, and method.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience.

2. Computer literate highly desirable.

Preferable requirements: Roller Bearing Field

1. Mechanical Engineering – solid mechanics, machine design basics, mechanics of materials

2. Machining – Heading/Forming, Grinding, Mass finishing

3. Factory Automation – Auto feeding/unloading/Inspection/Packaging

4. Metallurgical knowledge – bearing steel and Heat Treat

5. Statistics to identify/investigate sampling analysis results.

Salary info:

$67000 - $70000 / hr
