Schedule: M-F, 7:30 am – 4:30 pm, Some Weekends

Pay Rate: $18 - $22/ hr.

Location: Houston, TX 77385

Service Technician Job Summary:

The Service Technician is responsible for installing metal sheets on industrial equipment. This includes fastening metal seams, bolting, creating supportive frameworks, taking measurements, and maneuvering material around.

Service Technician Essential Job Duties:

The candidate will primarily be responsible for duties which include, but are not limited to:

• Installing actuators for our customers to ensure their safe operation
• Other duties assigned may be to:
• Work with internal staff to provide technical repair on electric and pneumatic actuators, using hand and power tools
• Help with Field Service Production team to assist as needed building valve automation packages
• Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment at all times, understand and comply with all policies
• Regular and reliable attendance.

Service Technician Required Skill/Abilities:

• Ability to work successfully under pressure.
• Ability to collaborate and work with a team.
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
• Must have Motor Control experience

Service Technician Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Service Technician Physical Requirements:

• Will be required to work in outdoor weather conditions.
• Prolonged periods of being in a stationary position.
• Must be able to ascend/ descend on a ladder as needed.
• Must be able to transport up to 50 pounds at a time.

Service Technician Responsibilities & Expectations:

• At minimum employee is scheduled to work a 40-hour work week. Subject to possible weekend work depending on workload.
• Employee to log in and out of the designated timeclock with demand being placed on the proper direct or indirect labor account.
• Follow all shop procedures and safety guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.
