About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team. This role is critical to our expansion strategy, focusing on the logistics of scouting, evaluating, and establishing new office locations. The Facilities Manager will be instrumental in ensuring that our physical environments align with our high standards, promote efficiency, and reflect the firm’s prestigious reputation. This position requires a blend of strategic planning, project management, and operational oversight, with a significant amount of travel involved.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end process of identifying, evaluating, and acquiring new office spaces across various locations.
  • Develop and implement strategies for the efficient set-up and operation of new offices, including design, layout, and office services.
  • Coordinate with real estate agents, architects, contractors, and local authorities to facilitate office build-outs and renovations.
  • Manage relationships with landlords and property management companies.
  • Ensure all facilities meet health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Supervise maintenance, security, and housekeeping operations.
  • Prepare and manage the annual facilities budget, including forecasting and cost control.
  • Liaise with the IT department to ensure office technology meets the needs of staff and aligns with firm standards.
  • Travel to prospective and current office locations to oversee and manage facilities-related projects.

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in facilities management or a similar role, with a proven track record in office set-up, relocation, and operations.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of real estate, building codes, and compliance requirements.
  • Willingness to travel as required by the job.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and facilities management software.
