We are seeking an IT Restaurant Systems Manager and Team Lead with a strong background in IT management and a strong understanding of how restaurants operate. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing technology and support for our restaurant teams, including restaurant POS systems, online ordering platforms, and kitchen display systems. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field, 2+ years of experience in IT, and at least 2 years of leadership experience.  Responsibilities include managing IT support desk and team, ensuring the security of our restaurant technology systems, and optimizing our technological resources to improve customer service and operational efficiency. This is not a remote role.

The Role: As the Manager of Restaurant IT Systems at Viva Chicken, you’re not just overseeing technology; you’re crafting the digital future of our fast-casual experience. Your Mission:

• Lead the Digital Culinary Revolution: Oversee and enhance our restaurant IT systems, including POS, online ordering, and catering tech stack, to elevate the guest experience.
• Be Proactive: Shift the IT support paradigm from reactive to proactive, addressing issues before they occur and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Empower and Inspire: Manage and mentor the IT support team, turning each member into a subject matter expert and leader in their domain.
• Forge Strong Partnerships: Collaborate with vendor partners and internal teams to ensure our tech stack is not just current, but cutting-edge.

Who You Are:

• A tech-savvy leader with a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Technologies or a related field.
• A dynamic individual with a servant leadership mindset, respect for all team members, and an insatiable appetite for growth and learning.
• Experienced in restaurant operations and technology, particularly with NCR Aloha, and passionate about using tech to enhance both customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
• A multitasking maestro with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and a proven track record in leadership, training, and innovation.
