Hybrid Work Schedule; 3 days in office, 2 days from home
General Overview: Under indirect supervision, installs, maintains, tests, and repairs systems and networks. Utilizes intermediate technical knowledge to implement and support IT initiatives. Provides technical support and resolves problems of a moderately complex nature. May assists users/departments in implementing requests or proposals and in determining information systems needs assessments. Provides MIS service support for Windows desktops, laptops and servers including installation, maintenance, backup and recovery, monitoring and security management.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provides daily Level 1 and Level 2 computer support for users in different locations, including “help desk” assistance, training and troubleshooting. Field requests and incidents via phone and email.
- Determines and solves a variety of computer or network related problems and collaborate with peers to implement solutions.
- Sets up and properly installs computers, printers and associated hardware and software.
- Provides hardware maintenance and coordination of repairs as needed.
- Coordinates vendor service calls, e.g., Dell, HP, Canon, etc.
- Disposes of obsolete assets (end-of-life monitors, computers, printers, etc.)
- Supports all current Windows applications.
- Follows procedures for server and user administration and management.
- Maintains clear communications with corporate MIS department and company employees.
- Ensures that all problems are resolved according to the departmental prioritization guidelines.
- Maintains professional skills and keeps current in technical abilities using available resources and training.
- Manages and deploy client computers and patch installed applications using client management application suite.
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- 5+ years of experience in a help desk environment
- Experience with Windows 10, Active Directory/Entra ID, and Microsoft 365, Teams
- Office 2013/16/365
- Intermediate Computer Networking/Troubleshooting
- Intermediate Hardware Troubleshooting
- General Printer/Copier/Fax Troubleshooting
- Strong organizational skills
- Solid verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to work in a demanding, dynamic environment while maintaining high level of customer service
- Degree in Computer Technology preferred
- Experience with ServiceNow preferred
- A+/Network+ Certifications preferred
Working Conditions: Office and manufacturing facility conditions may be experienced. Position requires a cell phone (provided by Rawlings) for off-hour application support occasionally. Travel to Washington, MO facility on as needed basis.
