CLINICAL PSYCHOLOGY CONSULTANT

JOB TITLE: Consultant: Course Development - Psychotherapy with Adults Summer 2024

REPORTS TO: Provost

POSITION SUMMARY: The consultant for the MA Clinical Psychology program at RU will develop a comprehensive curriculum for a psychotherapy course focusing on adults, ensuring alignment with current therapeutic theories, evidence-based practices, and ethical considerations. Using the Canvas LMS platform, the consultant will generate engaging and informative course materials, including lectures, presentations, case studies, and assessments, to enhance the learning experience for participants. The consultant may choose to be the course faculty of record for additional compensation.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• The successful candidate will hold a PhD from an accredited Clinical Psychology program and be licensed in the state of Michigan.
• Demonstrated experience working with a diverse faculty, staff, student and client/patient environment.
