Director of Nursing for Cedarcrest, Keene, NH

The Director of Nursing is a pivotal member of our Leadership Team, responsible for spearheading the development of a culture of compassion and excellence within our organization. This role entails providing clinical leadership, overseeing all aspects of resident's care, fostering teamwork amongst staff, and promoting clinical and educational development.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Nursing Practice: Ensure the delivery of high-quality clinical care in accordance with best practices and regulatory standards
Organizational Leadership: Provide strategic direction and guidance to the nursing team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
People Management: Recruit, train, and mentor nursing staff, promoting professional growth and development
Safety and Risk Management: Implement and monitor safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff
Interdisciplinary Relationships: Collaborate effectively with other departments and healthcare professionals to optimize resident care outcomes
Financial Management: Manage budgetary resources effectively, ensuring the efficient utilization of resources while maintaining quality care standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or willing to obtain BSN within two years
- Registered Nurse (R.N.) licensed in the State of New Hampshire
- Minimum of ten years' experience in nursing, including three years in a leadership role
- Experience with individuals with multiple complexities and/or chronic health conditions preferred
- Demonstrated strong clinical, organizational, and critical thinking skills
- Experience in pediatrics and/or long-term care is advantageous
