All of our growth has put us in need of Network Infrastructure Functional Systems Administration and Engineering Support! As a Network Infrastructure Functional Systems Administration and Engineering Support, you will play a critical role in managing and maintaining our company's network infrastructure and functional systems. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, security, and availability of our network and systems, including switches, routers, wireless access points, servers (physical and virtual), and data center environments. Additionally, you will provide technical guidance, troubleshoot network issues, and lead large-scale systems projects to support the organization's goals and objectives.

Location: Tampa, FL

Job Summary:

• Manage network infrastructure including switches, routers, and wireless access points.
• Troubleshoot network issues and manage security updates.
• Provide technical guidance for information systems operations.
• Perform system-level design and configuration.
• Plan and implement large-scale systems projects.
• Ensure network and data center availability.
• Manage physical and virtual servers, including backups and security.
• Control user access and monitor system resource utilization.
• Comply with security and maintenance protocols.
• Conduct daily assessments of network infrastructure and functional systems health.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Previous experience in network administration, systems engineering, or a related role, with a strong understanding of networking concepts and technologies.
• Proficiency in managing network infrastructure, including switches, routers, wireless access points, and firewalls.
• Experience with system-level design, configuration, and troubleshooting in a complex IT environment.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and implement large-scale systems projects with attention to detail and adherence to timelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA Network+, or relevant vendor-specific certifications are preferred.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is desirable.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or Equivalent degree/certification
• 3 to 5 years of related experience required.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.

Other Requirement:

• Must hold Secret Clearance
• CompTIA Security + certification
