General Overview

We build, install, and maintain Microsoft-based information network systems for small businesses (i.e. dentists, CPAs, attorneys, title agencies, etc.) with 10 to 100 workstations in Central Ohio. Our services are designed to make their systems run smoothly, from the servers to the monitors. We are looking for a smart, hardworking individual who wants to grow with us!

We have been in business for 30+ years and are excited about the years ahead. We have a large base of existing clients and are adding new clients regularly. Our services are designed for the specific needs of small and midsize businesses, including affordability and quick response time to keep them up and running.

As a Microsoft Silver Partner, we offer technology, advice, support, and service specific to the needs of the small and midsized business market.

Position Overview

AccuNet is looking for a technology resource to grow with our company. We are experiencing growth within the Ohio market for our small to midsized clients. Our network/infrastructure technicians service customers by providing technical support on their network, hardware, and software issues. This resource will be responsible for:

  • Facilitating issue resolution within the team
  • Configuring hardware such as firewall, switches, servers, and routers
  • Perform IT audits remotely using remote connection tools
  • Continuous learning and certification testing

This resource should be comfortable working in a team environment and directly with customers. We work in a business that changes rapidly, and our niche is staying in tune with those changes regularly so that we can apply our knowledge. Candidates should be willing to stay on the forefront of technology relative to the services we provide.

You will report to the Director of Network Services. Salary is based on experience and performance.

Requirements

  • Associate Degree or Bachelorโ€™s Degree beneficial
  • Proven track record of reliability is critical
  • Previous experience in a technical support role
  • Ability to document issues clearly and effectively
  • Patience under pressure is vital
  • Solid verbal, written communications, and presentation skills
  • Must be self-motivated, goal oriented, confident, ethical and a team player
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision and guidance
  • Must have strong skills in server configurations, workstation configurations, firewall configurations, network setup, cloud support

Additional Requirements

Applicants must be able to lift up to 50lbs (servers and backup systems) and have their own vehicle in order to visit multiple customers per day in central Ohio area as needed.
