Child Permanency Worker

The Children’s Home of Pittsburgh is searching for a Full-Time Child Permanency Worker in our Foster Care department.

The Job:

• Providing foster care case management services to children and families placed through the SWAN Adoption from foster care services
• Training foster families pre and post certification
• Recertifying foster family homes
• Comply with foster care regulations in completion of monthly home visits, supervision reports and regular service plan meetings and updates

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, education, human development, family studies, or related field
• Willing to work in and travel to Allegheny and neighboring counties
• Flexible schedule including a minimum of two evenings per week to meet client needs
• Exceptional writing, organization, and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and regular access to a working vehicle
• Preferred work or internship experience within the PA child welfare system or mental health field
