The EHS Specialist will lead and manage Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security protection for the entire organization to create and sustain a safety driven culture.
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
Ø Serve as a leader in creating and fostering a safety culture.
Ø Lead the implementation of environmental policies and practices.
Ø Train staff at all levels in environmental issues and responsibilities
Ø Provides all OSHA compliance.
Ø Develop safety procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
v Four-year degree in occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental discipline or equivalent field of study is required; Master’s degree a plus
v 5+ years of proven experience in EHS program management and safety performance improvement required.
v Professional certifications, such as CIH, CSP, CHMM, and/or PE preferred.
v Non-Union experience is preferred.
