This is a highly visible leadership role that partners closely with plant leadership to protect our employees, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement across the region.

If you're passionate about creating safer workplaces, influencing organizational culture, and making a measurable impact in a complex manufacturing environment, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

As the EHS Manager, you'll provide strategic and hands-on leadership for environmental, health, and safety initiatives across multiple manufacturing locations. You'll be responsible for ensuring compliance with OSHA and environmental regulations while partnering with site leaders to proactively identify risks and implement sustainable solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead Environmental, Health & Safety programs across multiple manufacturing facilities.
  • Serve as the regional subject matter expert for OSHA compliance, environmental regulations, and corporate EHS standards.
  • Manage all safety incident reporting and lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve EHS policies, procedures, and management systems.
  • Interpret regulatory requirements and advise leadership on compliance obligations and industry best practices.
  • Monitor workplace safety performance and develop strategies to reduce occupational hazards and injuries.
  • Oversee workers' compensation programs and coordinate with third-party administrators and medical providers.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate employee safety training programs, including behavioral-based safety initiatives.
  • Conduct EHS audits, inspections, and risk assessments while ensuring timely corrective actions.
  • Analyze EHS metrics and identify opportunities to improve safety performance and operational excellence.
  • Partner with plant leadership to build and sustain a proactive, employee-focused safety culture.
  • Stay current on changing environmental and safety regulations and ensure compliance across all assigned locations.
What We're Looking For

We're seeking a collaborative leader who combines strong technical EHS expertise with the ability to influence others, build relationships, and drive meaningful change across multiple manufacturing sites.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field with 3+ years of relevant EHS experience, OR
  • 8+ years of directly related Environmental, Health & Safety experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% to support EHS initiatives, conduct site visits, lead investigations, and partner with leadership across assigned facilities.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial operations with responsibility for OSHA compliance and environmental, health, and safety programs.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, incident investigations, root cause analysis, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience developing and implementing EHS policies, procedures, and employee training programs.
  • Proven ability to influence leaders at all organizational levels and promote a strong safety culture.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience supporting multiple manufacturing facilities or regional operations is highly preferred.
