Are you seeking an opportunity to advance your EHS career and serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a manufacturing facility? Our client is seeking a dedicated professional to join a four‑person team responsible for the management and strategic direction of site‑wide EHS programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Partner with plant leadership to align local and corporate EHS goals while championing a culture of employee involvement and accountability.
  • Regulatory & Technical SME: Serve as the site expert for interpreting federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
  • Injury Prevention: Lead efforts to prevent fatalities and serious injuries by analyzing incident data, leading root‑cause investigations, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Compliance Oversight: Manage the facility’s EHS self‑assessment (audit) process and coach Single Point Accountable (SPA) persons to maintain regulatory and internal standards.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work with Engineering, Maintenance, and Operations to integrate EHS considerations into new equipment designs and capital projects.
  • Health & Environment: Support industrial hygiene sampling, hazardous material management, radiation protection, and environmental compliance activities.
  • Mentorship: Guide, coach, and mentor site employees and departmental leaders on EHS accountabilities and safety behaviors.
Minimum Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Experience: 3+ years of EHS‑related experience.
  • Authorization: Unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.
  • Legal: Ability to lawfully obtain access to export‑controlled items.
  • Core Skills: Demonstrated success leading safety initiatives, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to make data‑driven decisions in complex environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Specialized Education: BS or Master’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or Engineering.
  • Industry Experience: 5+ years of EHS management experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Certification: Professional certifications such as ASP, CSP, CIH, CHMM, REHS, MSP, REM, or CEP.
