EHS Lead |Raleigh| HIRING IMMEDIATELY

Incentives:

Available Shift:

Monday-Friday 6:30am-2:30pm

Responsibilities:

  • Review, revise, and update environmental and safety policies, programs, training manuals and materials, environmental calendars, the safety training matrix, Industrial Hygiene, Key Element Survey, Safety Key Element Survey, related corrective action plans, etc.
  • Complete OSHA log information, lead event investigations, submit reports, ensure compliance for NC, Workers Compensation, federal, state, and local government agencies as well as Corporate EHS within specified deadlines.
  • Conduct annual safety training and new team member orientation, administer EHS Competency tests.
  • Track water, air, and waste use/discharge, monitor permissible limits and conduct sampling and inspections.
  • maintain records for the Hearing Conservation Program, schedule and/or conduct hearing tests and follow up on potential hearing shifts.
  • Conduct New and Altered Equipment Reviews of new equipment. Review new chemicals. Ensure SDS are added to SDS Inventory.
  • Maintain safety supplies and work with vendors to reduce PPE related costs.
  • Lead site safety teams,
  • Maintain organized files in accordance with government regulations and the Corporate Records Retention Policy.
  • Maintain certification to sign manifests and other government agency, and Corporate EHS requirements.
  • Update Lead Team on safety and environmental development and regulations and provide all other support to the EHS Team Leader as needed.
  • Coordinate and manage the transportation of waste streams, both hazardous and non-hazardous.
  • Conduct EHS Safety Training and LOTO Certification.
  • Other job duties as assigned by Team Leader/Supervisor.

Qaulifications:

  • High School Diploma or AAS in Emergency Safety Management
  • Previous Experience working in an EHS Position
