Our customers include Hotels; Hospitals, Condominiums, transportation, manufacturing, building property managers, construction, Education K-12 and secondary. Any experience selling to these industries or experience with video, wireless networks or access control are welcome attributes.

We are searching for that rare tech savvy, ethical sales leader that is not afraid to prospect creatively and make their mark on the Puget Sound business community. Our technologies integrate voice, video and access control to allow our customers to keep their employees and customers safe and productive. We also offer products that allow buildings to reduce their carbon footprint while reducing energy costs and adding value to the buildings value.

Use our locally owned company’s stellar 26-year reputation to further penetrate these vertical markets by using our existing marque customers as references to continue to grow our market share in one of the hottest major markets in the country.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the full sales process and as a result be able to prospect clients and close deals. They should be well organized and be able to manage the daily operations of assigned accounts. In order to continue to generate revenue, this candidate should be able to uncover new client needs and find a way to add value to their business. 

 

Responsibilities

  • networking, trade shows or after-hours events are required. Average of 1 per month. Sourcing potential new customers and maintaining regular contact with existing customers
  • Seek to deliver exceptional customer service by understanding their specific needs, desires and pain points so that we can build enduring and meaningful buying relationships
  • Travelling locally to attend meetings & demonstrate products while educating potential customers about the functions of the product (some potential longer distance travel)
  • Providing advice about the advantages of particular services, equipment or products
  • Persuading potential customers to buy products, leading price negotiations and closing sales
  • Advising customers of updates and new technologies
  • Being familiar with Industry competitors' activities and products
  • Putting together proposals and tender documents
  • Meeting sales and commission targets.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date contacts, deals and tasks within our CRM so that our records are kept current
  • Develop and cultivate a strong knowledge of our products and services so that you can prescribe appropriate, value-added solutions to our client
  • Engage in and attend regular meetings with your team and outside organizations so that we can learn and share best practices while continuing to raise the bar within our industry
  • Grow existing accounts by maintaining relationships with clients
  • Manage operation of accounts through responding to customers, forecasting, arranging services and ordering new product
  • Generate new leads and tackle existing leads to contribute to business growth
  • Attend trade shows and relevant conferences


Qualifications

  • Meet/Exceed established Sales targets

  • Provide accurate and timely reporting in CRM
  • Strong grammar, written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Typical work week, M-F, 8am to 5pm

  • Associates degree 2+ years in related field
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational, communication and analytical skills Strong understanding of full sales process
