In this key role, the ERP Administrator is responsible for the implementation and administration of various business systems (Epicor and Reliance/ETQ) and other ancillary systems that relate to the ERP. This position is responsible for the overall performance of the system. In this position, they will perform a wide range of tasks and functions with primary areas of focus including maintaining the health of the environment, business intelligence analytics, dashboard development, and report writing. This position could be a hybrid position for the right candidate.

Duties/Responsibilities:

The responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Maintain the health of the Epicor and Reliance
  • Administration of the supporting systems and services that interact or integrate with these systems and support the ERP business operations
  • Manage Business Systems projects and initiatives
  • Collaborate with business units to enhance reporting opportunities and solve problems by developing custom reports utilizing SQL and BI tools and analytics
  • Lead and manage business analytics and reporting
  • Work directly with business system stakeholders to define and drive system use and analytics
  • Participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure including customizations, integrations, add-on functionality and upgrades
  • Perform system updates and manage all related system update tasks
  • Perform systems training activities for departments and individuals throughout the organization
  • Assist with tier 1 support for the systems and be the primary escalation point for tier 2 level support including Incident Management, Problem Management, Knowledge Articles, and creating standard operating procedures (SOP)
  • Create and define dashboards and report metrics that will help improve company performance
  • Perform other duties as needed as a team member in the IT department
  • Perform other projects and duties as assigned by parent company for the overall benefit of the organization

  • Innovative thinker to solve issues and successfully deliver results on schedule

Education and Experience:

  • 2 years + of Epicor experience or 3 – 5 years other ERP system support, report writing, and/or BI development
  • Bachelor’s degree related to Information Technology Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or similar or equivalent experience
  • Experience managing and maintaining an Epicor manufacturing business system or other similar ERP is required
  • Experience in modern database and application programming, ERP administration, and Microsoft SQL Server is required
  • Experience implementing and or maintaining ETQ Reliance or similar eQMS software is desired
