Job description

We are looking for an ERP Support specialist to provide dependable application assistance for a manufacturing organization. This Long-term Contract opportunity is well suited for someone who enjoys solving user issues, delivering strong customer service, and supporting day-to-day ERP operations in a Microsoft-based environment. The role will focus on helping employees troubleshoot system-related concerns, manage incoming requests, and keep business users productive through responsive support.
Responsibilities:
• Respond to user requests related to ERP application access, functionality, and day-to-day system issues in a timely and thorough manner.
• Troubleshoot and resolve support tickets involving Global Shop or comparable Windows-based ERP platforms, escalating more complex concerns when needed.
• Assist employees with password changes, password resets, and other account-related support activities to maintain smooth system access.
• Provide clear guidance to end users on system usage, issue resolution steps, and best practices within the ERP environment.
• Support printing-related problems, including issues connected to Sentinel printing, and coordinate follow-up to ensure resolution.
• Work within a Microsoft-based technical environment to identify, document, and address application support needs across the user base.
• Monitor incoming ticket volume, prioritize requests effectively, and maintain accurate records of actions taken and outcomes achieved.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent ERP support coverage for approximately 60 users across daily operations.• Experience providing end-user support for ERP applications, preferably Global Shop or similar Windows-based systems such as Infor or Dynamics.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build positive relationships with users at different levels.
• Hands-on experience handling service tickets, troubleshooting application issues, and resolving user access concerns.
• Familiarity with password reset processes, account support, and general enterprise application administration tasks.
• Comfort working in a Microsoft environment and supporting users with a range of technical questions.
• Knowledge of printing support, including Sentinel-related issues, is preferred.
• Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to stay organized, responsive, and solution-oriented in a support-focused role.
