Abby's also provides gourmet delights for corporate offices, private and corporate events, as well as food service management contracts.

Position

The ERP Assistant supports the day-to-day administration and continuous improvement of Abby's Catering's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Reporting to the ERP Director, this role is responsible for maintaining accurate system data, supporting ERP users, generating reports, documenting business processes, and assisting with system testing and implementation activities.

This position works closely with departments across the organization to help ensure the ERP system supports efficient business operations. ERP Data Maintenance

Enter and maintain accurate information within the ERP system.

Assist the ERP Director with daily administrative and project-related tasks.

System Support

Respond to basic ERP user questions and requests.
Assist users with routine system functions and navigation.
Escalate technical or complex issues to the ERP Director or software vendor.
Assist with user account requests and system updates.

Reporting

Generate standard ERP reports for Operations, Purchasing, Finance, and Leadership.
Compile data from multiple sources into organized reports and spreadsheets.
Assist with invoice validation, inventory reporting, and operational reporting.

Documentation

Help develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and user guides.
Update training materials as business processes change.
Maintain organized documentation for ERP processes.

Testing & Quality Assurance

Assist with testing new ERP features, updates, and system changes.
Document test results and communicate findings.
Verify corrections before implementation into production.

Cross-Department Support

Work with Operations, Purchasing, Production, Warehouse, Transportation, Finance, and Customer Service to gather and verify information.
Help ensure ERP information remains accurate and up to date.
Support departmental ERP initiatives as assigned.

Requirements

Education 


High school diploma or GED required. Associate's degree or coursework in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Accounting, or a related field preferred. 


Experience 


Previous office, administrative, customer service, or data entry experience preferred. Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. ERP experience is a plus but not required. 


Preferred Qualifications 


Experience with ERP software or business systems. Knowledge of inventory, purchasing, or production processes. Experience maintaining spreadsheets or databases. Interest in technology, data analysis, or process improvement. 


Note: No prior ERP experience is required. We are looking for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent 

organizational skills, and a willingness to learn. Training will be provided.
