You'll work closely with stakeholders throughout the organization to enhance business processes, improve data visibility and maximize the value of the ERP system.

While experience with Acumatica is highly desirable, we welcome candidates with strong experience supporting other ERP platforms who possess the technical aptitude and curiosity to learn a new system.

This is a full-time onsite position in the Greater Chicago Area.

Responsibilities

ERP Administration & Optimization

  • Configure, maintain and optimize the organization's ERP platform.
  • Design and develop reports, dashboards, Generic Inquiries (or equivalent reporting tools) and data views.
  • Build workflow automations, notifications and business process improvements.
  • Configure user security, roles and system settings.
  • Participate in ERP upgrades, testing and deployment activities.

Reporting & Data Analysis

  • Develop ERP reports and analytical tools that provide meaningful operational insight.
  • Validate report results and troubleshoot data discrepancies by analyzing table relationships, joins and reporting logic.
  • Utilize SQL and database concepts to support reporting, troubleshooting and data analysis.
  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of ERP data used throughout the organization.

Business Process Improvement

  • Partner with stakeholders across multiple departments to understand business requirements.
  • Translate operational needs into practical ERP solutions.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve system efficiency.
  • Recommend enhancements that improve reporting, productivity and user experience.

User Support

  • Provide functional ERP support for internal users.
  • Troubleshoot system issues and recommend long-term solutions.
  • Assist with user acceptance testing during upgrades and new implementations.
  • Maintain documentation for reports, workflows and system configurations.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years supporting, administering or configuring an ERP platform.
  • Experience building ERP reports, dashboards, queries or custom data views.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
  • Experience validating data accuracy and troubleshooting reporting or query results.
  • Strong understanding of ERP business processes including order management, purchasing, inventory, manufacturing or distribution, shipping and finance.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and business users.
  • A proactive, naturally curious mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Acumatica ERP.
  • Experience developing Generic Inquiries or similar ERP reporting tools.
  • Experience with workflow automation, Business Events or similar automation technologies.
  • Crystal Reports or other enterprise reporting platforms.
  • API, EDI or systems integration experience.
  • Experience supporting ERP implementations or upgrades.
  • Experience in manufacturing, distribution or other operational environments.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

You'll have the opportunity to:

  • Own meaningful ERP initiatives from concept through implementation.
  • Lead reporting and automation projects.
  • Work closely with business leadership on continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Expand your ERP expertise while making a visible impact across the organization.
  • Join a collaborative team that values initiative, technical problem-solving and continuous learning.
