Job Description

Sonance is seeking an ERP Support Specialist to help maintain and support our PeopleSoft ERP environment. In this role you will use your SQL skills, ERP user support experience, and knowledge of business processes to strengthen our data-driven decision making and to support day-to-day user needs across the company.

This is a hands-on role at the intersection of data, systems, and people. You will write and optimize SQL, troubleshoot PeopleSoft and ERP issues for users, and partner with supply chain, inventory, and procurement teams to keep operational workflows running smoothly. The ideal candidate pairs strong analytical ability with genuine customer service instincts, and wants to grow their skills alongside our ERP and data platforms.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, functions, and stored procedures to support data analysis, reporting, and process automation.
  • Provide ERP user support, addressing functional issues, troubleshooting errors, and keeping operational workflows running smoothly across all ERP modules.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, inventory, and procurement teams to understand business requirements, identify process improvements, and implement ERP solutions that drive operational efficiency.
  • Maintain data quality, security, and accuracy within ERP and inventory management systems through established best practices.
  • Support system maintenance, upgrades, and patches for ERP and inventory systems to sustain high performance and user satisfaction.
  • Provide ongoing support to ERP users, making sure they understand system functionality and can perform their tasks efficiently.
  • Stay current on SQL and ERP best practices, new technologies, and supply chain management trends, continuously growing your skills to contribute more to the team.

Requirements:

Qualifications & Skills

  • SQL Development: proficiency in SQL development, with experience creating and optimizing queries and stored procedures.
  • ERP Support: exposure to ERP support, including familiarity with supply chain and inventory management modules.
  • Stored Procedures: foundational experience creating and managing stored procedures that support business processes and data automation.
  • Analytical Skills: strong analytical and problem-solving ability, with keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to finding solutions.
  • Communication: excellent communication skills, able to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

  • PeopleSoft Experience: hands-on experience maintaining or supporting Oracle PeopleSoft is a strong plus.
