Planning Analyst

As a Planning Analyst, your role is pivotal in ensuring efficient inventory management through data analysis and strategic planning. Collaborating closely with the Supply Planning Manager and cross-functional teams, you'll contribute to maintaining optimal inventory levels and supporting the product lifecycle. Your analytical insights will guide purchasing decisions and inventory optimization efforts.

• Collaborate with suppliers to coordinate production schedules and streamline delivery processes.
• Monitor and communicate potential supply chain disruptions, proposing proactive solutions to mitigate risks.
• Utilize forecasting models to adjust supply plans and create purchasing schedules that align with service level targets and inventory goals.
• Manage inventory for promotional and marketing items and kits, ensuring adequate stock levels to support marketing and sales initiatives.
• Assist in managing inventory health by monitoring product lifecycle stages, including reformulations and discontinuations.
• Conduct regular inventory reconciliations and analysis to identify discrepancies and optimize inventory accuracy.
• Provide support to the Planning Manager and Supply Chain Planners on ad hoc projects and requests.

• Bachelor’s Degree: 1-3 years experience with Supply Chain Management (preferably in the consumer goods industry)
• Strong analytical skills. Problem-solving capabilities will be critical for success in this role
• Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast pace environment
• Effective communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally with multiple organizations
• Prior experience and understanding of MRP and ERP systems
• Exceptional skills in Excel

• Lifting: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.
• Reaching: Extending hands and arms in any direction.
• Sitting: Must be able to remain in the seated, stationary position throughout the workday.
