Job Description

360 Talent Avenue is partnering with multiple clients in Florida to hire Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA).

 

These positions are direct hire and/or contracted, flexible roles.

 

What you’ll do:

As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) you will provide support to individuals and their caregivers by coordinating and providing services in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), functional analyses and assessment, behavior acquisition and reduction procedures, and adaptive life skills. The BCBA will also oversee and provide support and supervision to behavior technicians or therapists regarding the implementation and documentation associated with individual behavior treatment plans.

 
  • Function in a supervisory capacity and provide oversight to all areas of programming. 
  • Develop behavior treatment plans with a focus on teaching and other antecedent strategies for reducing problematic behavior(s).  
  • Supervise and train paraprofessional staff in implementation of ABA principles and methodology, and behavior reduction strategies.  
  • Meet with staff to discuss ongoing client issues and identify opportunities for support and training.  
  • Facilitate and assist in the development and identification of resources and support information for clients, their families, and caregivers.  
  • Provide consultation services and maintain ongoing communication with all constituents (other supports, parents, community, and community agencies).  
  • Assist in the development and implementation of assessment tools, to conduct functional assessments and analyses when appropriate, and to develop appropriate behavior strategies to teach appropriate behavior and reduce maladaptive behaviors.  
  • Document session notes in web-based session management platform.  
  • Keep current with the literature, new research findings and resources.
  • Maintain all data, paperwork, and communication between care staff and families, and provide ongoing feedback to government related agencies that contract with such families. 
 

What you’ll need:  

  • Master’s degree in Special Education or related human services field
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst for a minimum of 2 years
  • Successful completion of internship and/or formal training in the analysis of behavior and ABA strategies related to working with clients who have pervasive developmental disorders and related disorders, their parents, and other agencies working with client  
  • Ability to demonstrate competence in behavior management skill, instructional skills, oral and written communication, organizational skills and interpersonal relations  
  • Ability to work with a variety of clients in regard to age, functionality, and with minimal direction  
  • Flexibility to be available to quickly respond to phone calls, text messages, and emails
