Job Description
Salary: $120,000 - $160,000

Castles Technology International, based in Kennesaw, GA (an Atlanta suburb), is Castles’ North American subsidiary.  We are responsible for all sales and support throughout North America.

Product Managers at Castles Technology are responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch to maintenance to End-Of-Life. This requires proactive and collaborative professionals with a keen understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver successful products.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Strategically and tactically lead the development and delivery of assigned products
  • Be the go-to subject matter expert for their products, including hardware, software, certifications, target markets and market requirements
  • Responsible for leading and driving their products’ success, including setting product priorities, engaging with external and internal stakeholders, and managing the development of the product line.
  • Serve as a consultative resource for stakeholders and customers regarding product inquiries
  • Effectively support sales during customer presentations regarding products, requirement gathering, and architecture decisions.
  • Train customers, sales & other internal audiences on their assigned product(s)’ feature/function/benefits in a manner that is consultative and easy to digest.
  • Develop & maintain internal training materials to support the tasks above.
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop & maintain external sales collateral that communicates product benefits and value propositions (brochures, advertising, trade show materials etc.)
  • Monitor and track market landscape and develop competitive analysis to help Castles’ Sales to compete with other products and ii) inform our product roadmap for enhancements & new products.
  • Create and Manage the Product Roadmap 
    • Based on market knowledge and customer input, identify, and prioritize required new products and product enhancements. Build business cases as needed for major projects.
    • Draft high-level technical requirements for new products and product enhancements.
    • Coordinate with Development and other departments to drive comprehensive and timely product delivery. Included, but not limited to, marketing, training materials and
    • Track and manage hardware PNs, software versions, and custom BOMs

 

Preferred Professional Experience: (Any of the following)

  • At least 3~5 years of payment industry experience as a Product Manager, Product Marketing Manager, Product Specialist, Sales Engineer, or similar role requiring tech knowledge, market awareness, and communication skills
  • Engineer/Programmer with good communication skills and a desire to transition to a Product Management role.
  • Current or Prior experience in Technical Sales in the payments industry, with a desire to transition to a Product Management role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge/experience with terminal hardware, terminal application software, and software products like Terminal Management and SoftPOS
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth company.
  • A broad perspective on the industry, gained from experience working for companies in more than one role in the ecosystem (terminal vendor, processor, gateway, ISO, ISV)
  • Ability to communicate effectively and influence various stakeholders.

Additional Information   

    

Work Hours: This position is a full-time role working forty hours a week.   

    

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 15% of the time.   

    

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be in an office setting. The work will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by video conferencing, and frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
