As we continue to grow, we are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Construction Administration Manager (CAM).


Job Description:

The Construction Administration Manager (CAM) will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of Construction Administration functions within our firm. Reporting directly to the Director of Construction and working closely with all staff members, the CAM will have direct communication with clients, owners, developers, contractors, and vendors.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, coordinate, and confirm shop drawings and drawing submittals received during construction.
  • Handle all Requests for Information (RFIs) received by the office during construction, ensuring timely responses that are consistent, complete, and of high quality.
  • Maintain and improve documentation processes, including drawings, drawing standards, specifications checklists, and all contract administration follow-through.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality drawing packages intended for construction, collaborating with staff, consultants, city staff, and contractors.
  • Participate in training activities related to submittal quality and reliability.
  • Assist management with other quality-related office functions as needed, such as specifications, pricing set checks, shop drawing and pay application reviews, and implementation of detail standards.


Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Good working knowledge of AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Revit.
  • Familiarity with ProCore or other construction management software.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.
  • Professional demeanor with exceptional follow-through and attention to detail.
  • Independent, self-starter with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
  • Ability to maintain and promote positive team and co-worker relationships.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction administration or related field.
  • Previous experience in architectural firms or construction management preferred.
