Criminal/Removal Attorney for Immigration Law Firm (Bilingual ENG-SPA)

We currently have offices in San Antonio, Houston, and Dallas and soon will expand to additional offices in other states. Being located in our office in Irving is a requirement. This position will require travel as we represent clients before USCIS and EOIR in all states. Must speak Spanish fluently. Personality testing to ensure a cultural fit will be required but covered by the firm. Salary range $85k-$110k plus benefits.

Duties:

• Develop and implement removal defense strategies for clients.
• Represent clients in immigration court and before the Board of Immigration Appeals.
• Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and file legal briefs, motions, and appeals.
• Stay current with changes in immigration law and regulations.
• Manage caseload and meet deadlines for court appearances and filings.
• Provide clear and accurate billing to clients.

Requirements:

• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and admission to a state bar.
• Minimum 5 years of experience practicing immigration law, with a focus on removal defense.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Commitment to social justice and serving immigrant communities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
