Head of Antibody Discovery and Optimization

We are growing our team and have an opportunity available for a full-time Director to head our Antibody Discovery and Optimization group.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and oversee day-to-day operations of Mosaic’s Antibody Discovery and Optimization team.
• Foster the development of the Antibody Discovery and Optimization team members by offering mentoring, training, and recruiting subject matter experts.
• Guide the growth and expansion of platform capabilities.
• Design additional naïve and immune phage/yeast antibody display libraries.
• Oversee the design, execution, and analysis of antibody discovery and optimization campaigns.
• Work collaboratively across functional teams to support consultation and troubleshooting efforts and maintain project deadlines.

Qualifications:

• PhD in Protein Engineering, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Genetics or related discipline, with 10+ years of industry experience.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment with multiple functional groups and external partners with diverse antibody discovery and optimization needs.
• Effective time and resource management skills and an enthusiasm for working in a team environment.
• Demonstrated expertise and hands on experience with in vitro antibody display systems (yeast, phage, mammalian, and/or nucleic acid display).
• Experience in antibody affinity maturation, humanization, and developability methods.
• Experience with bioinformatics analysis and NGS approaches.
• Experience leading high-functioning technical teams.

This is a full-time position on site in Boulder, CO.
Compensation: $110,000- $170,000
