Popeโ€™s Plant Farm is a family-owned greenhouse dedicated to producing the healthiest, most beautiful ornamental and succulent plants. From unrooted cuttings and stage three tissue culture to seed and plugs, we pride ourselves on quality and innovation,.

The Role:
Weโ€™re looking for a hands-on Head Grower to lead our greenhouse operations. Youโ€™ll oversee propagation, crop growth, irrigation, nutrition, and pest management while mentoring a talented growing team. Your expertise will help us deliver top-quality plants to our customers, season after season.

What Youโ€™ll Do:

  • Lead propagation and finishing of a wide variety of ornamental and succulent crops
  • Monitor plant health and optimize growth with irrigation, fertigation, and nutrition programs
  • Implement and maintain Integrated Pest Management (IPM)
  • Train, coach, and supervise greenhouse staff to build a high-performing team
  • Collaborate with sales and operations to meet production schedules and quality goals
  • Track and record crop performance, rooting success, and growth metrics

What Weโ€™re Looking For:

  • 3+ years as a Head Grower, or 5+ years as an Assistant Grower in a large commercial greenhouse
  • Proven expertise in propagation, irrigation, and crop nutrition
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills
  • Knowledge of IPM and safe pesticide use (Pesticide Applicator License preferred)
  • Passion for plants, quality, and innovation
