Job Title: Machine Operator

Pay: $18/HR

Schedule: Monday to Friday 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM

Location: Broadway & Alma School (Mesa, AZ)

Responsibilities:

• Insert cones into garage door torsion springs using designated machines.
• Ensure all products meet customer and quality specifications.
• Load finished springs onto pallets or carts in correct quantities.
• Secure pallets using a banding machine and label them clearly.
• Organize completed products for efficient movement.
• Uncone springs when necessary.
• Meet established production quotas per hour.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and production tracking.
• Identify and address equipment malfunctions.
• Follow established safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding progress, issues, and quality concerns.
• Propose improvements for continuous performance and process optimization.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment across teams and shifts.
• Uphold company values in all interactions.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Manufacturing experience a plus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to anticipate needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through skills.
• Math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions delivered verbally, visually, or in writing
• Complete and pass a background & drug screen (including THC).
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.

Physical Demands:

• The job requires frequent standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying (up to 50 lbs).
• Frequent use of hands and fingers for manipulating objects, tools, and controls.
• Occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching may be required.
• The position requires good vision including close-up, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception with the ability to adjust focus. (#IND1)
