Responsibilities

Job Specific Details and Tasks: The duties include, but are not limited to the following:

Support and medical supervision of nursing staff and athletic trainer
Performance of DEA and State Department physical evaluations
Diagnosis and treatment of acute illnesses and injuries of DEA students and staff (non-contract)
Consultation with DEA employees regarding health issues or concerns
Emergency response for any emergency within DEA TR buildings or on campus
Guidance to DEA leadership, staff, or students regarding health issues or concerns

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Must be Board Certified in one of the following:
- Cardiology, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Preventative Medicine
Must possess and maintain a current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the jurisdiction of delivery of care
Must possess and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
Must have and maintain a valid state driver's license.
