Job Title: Admin/Office Clerk - Mailroom

Location: 666 Garland Street, Des Plaines, IL 60016

Responsibilities:

  • Operate copier for scanning purposes.
  • Open mail and prepare documents for scanning.
  • Sort documents by type (e.g., registration, tolls, violations).
  • Discern the type of document and ensure it is appropriate for scanning.
  • Sort documents by "make up" (e.g., single-sided, double-sided).
  • Pull up documents in Adobe and perform quality control checks (rescan if necessary).
  • Move documents from folder to folder within a Windows environment.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a mailroom or similar administrative role.
  • Proficiency in operating copiers for scanning.
  • Ability to accurately sort and organize documents.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat for document viewing and quality control.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable with basic computer tasks and navigating a Windows environment.
