Job Title: Admin/Office Clerk - Mailroom
Location: 666 Garland Street, Des Plaines, IL 60016
Responsibilities:
- Operate copier for scanning purposes.
- Open mail and prepare documents for scanning.
- Sort documents by type (e.g., registration, tolls, violations).
- Discern the type of document and ensure it is appropriate for scanning.
- Sort documents by "make up" (e.g., single-sided, double-sided).
- Pull up documents in Adobe and perform quality control checks (rescan if necessary).
- Move documents from folder to folder within a Windows environment.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a mailroom or similar administrative role.
- Proficiency in operating copiers for scanning.
- Ability to accurately sort and organize documents.
- Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat for document viewing and quality control.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable with basic computer tasks and navigating a Windows environment.
