Position Summary
  1. The Video Analyst is responsible for providing the Head Coach & Coaching staff with analysis of Colorado Rapids matches & training.
  2. The Video Analyst is responsible for supporting the Head Coach & Coaching staff with analysis of opposition.
  3. The Video Analyst is responsible for creating analysis to support Individual Player Development plans.
  4. The Video Analyst is responsible for developing content to communicate with club technical staff the club's playing vision, identity and playing style.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities
Team
  1. Support 1st staff ensuring filming of all team field activities (Training/Games)
  2. Coding of all team field activities (Training/Games)
  3. Complete video review of games:
    • Team

  4. Provide data to support analysis of game performance.
  5. Provide video review of training sessions:
    • Team

  6. Provide real time video for training and games:
    • Half time for games

  7. Provide game insights to coaching staff during games:

Education/Experience
  1. US Soccer "A" License or equivalent.
  2. Minimum of 2 years working in professional soccer and/or professional coaching experience.
  3. Proficiency in English required additional language skills preferred.
  4. Proficient user of Sportscode, Wyscout, Statsbomb
  5. Proficient in use video recording equipment.
  6. Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Calendar.

Working Conditions & Physical Demands
Outdoor and office work environment. Requires prolonged sitting, standing, walking, bending, stooping and stretching. Regular lifting of files or field equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. Use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl up to 2/3 of time. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports. Requires mobility enough to travel. Moderate to loud noise and varying weather conditions.
